Bank Of America Wants A Cashless Society

Whether the banking industry likes it or not it has been a commonly held fact that cashless solutions and perhaps cryptocurrencies is the future of currencies.

Now big and powerful financial institutions have joined the unstoppable trend to build a cashless society as Bank of America, the second largest US bank calls for its inception.

They have accepted the reality that the three-thousand-year –old monetary system is set for an update or overhaul as it is incompatible with borderless, digital and fast-moving economic model and there are technologies already available that offer new possibilities and innovative business solutions.

According to Bank of America CEO Bain Moynihan, his bank is joining the trend towards non-cash transactions and he sees the banking industry will continue to move towards digital, tech-enabled models which are cheaper and more efficient than traditional methods.

The race of building a cashless society did not only caught the attention of banks but countries as well as many of the most developed countries in the world is vying to become the leader in the implementation of a cashless society.
