It seems that the hearing for Facebook’s Libra has become a staging point for Bitcoin to open conversation with the governments, regulators, banking industry and other stakeholders.
It has been the general assessment that congress has been hostile towards Facebook’s Libra and more in favor with Bitcoin which is not controlled or influenced by any single entity, unlike Libra, which will practically be run by big corporations.
No one is sure how the hearing will conclude but the cryptocurrency community can rest assured that bitcoin has gain major support from politicians that has finally realize the value proposition of bitcoin and what it is trying to achieve.
