
It has been reported that Ben Davenport has joined the team of Blockchain Capital as venture partner.
Davenport’s involvement in business have been deeply rooted in technology and cryptocurrency who created Beluga which was acquired by Facebook in 2011 and become Facebook Messenger thereafter joined Bitgo in 2014 as co-founder.
Currently he spends his time more of an investor rather than running his own startup which enables him to spend more time focused on the industry as whole and how it is evolving.
Now he is a venture capital in Blockchain Capital but he won’t be making decisions for the fund but instead will be sharing deal flow and evaluating opportunities together.
According to co-founder and managing partner at Blockchain Capital partners, P. Bart Stephens, Daveport brings unparalleled technical knowledge and experience of the crypto ecosystem as a co-founder and CTO of BitGo.
