U.S. cryptocurrency exchange giant Coinbase is considering the addition of 8 new cryptocurrencies into its platform.
These cryptocurrencies include Alogrand, Cosmos, Dash, Decred, Matic, Harmony, Onology and Waves.
The company has revealed that they'll be adding new assets on a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis depending on the regulatory framework where they operate, aiming to add 90% of all the crypto tokens by market cap.
As it stands Coinbase has around 14 cryptocurrencies already listed on its platform: Bicoin (BTC), ETH (Ethereum), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), EOS, Stellar (XLM), Chainlink (LINK), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Zcah, Basic Attentional Token (BAT), Augur (REP), 0x and Dai.
It remains to be seen which ones will make the cut, based on previous data most cryptocurrencies that have listed in Coinbase have experienced significant positive price action right before listing and immediately after.
