Facebook is currently looking for someone to head data since work on its Calibra wallet on a recent job posting, according to its job posting.
According to the post the social media giant is looking for an experienced analytics leader who can use data to drive insights, plan for the wallet’s future direction and measure product success.
The company is also requiring aspirants to be able to understand how users interact with the product and identify opportunities stemming from these interactions as well as having at least 8 years experience of quantitative analysis.
Facebook also stated the characteristic of a perfect candidate: scrappy, result-focused and self-starting, will be valuable to enable the wallet to become a delivery vehicle for financial service starting with personal payments and eventually expanding to online and offline commerce.
However the social media giant admits that the service might not be available in jurisdiction that has restricted the use of cryptocurrencies such as India as the country moves to criminalize activities related to cryptocurrency.
