Bitcoin expert Max Keiser predicts that Facebook’s GlobalCoin cryptocurrency will absolutely annihilate Ripple (XRP) and other Altcoins at the same time boost Bitcoin (BTC).
The pundit warns that Ripple and other cryptocurrencies should start looking behind their shoulders now that Facebook has announced it is launching GlobalCoin.
In addition to this he speculates that the new cryptocurrency offering of Facebook will make Altcoins irrelevant which includes Ripple and obliterate payments and remittance companies leveraging cryptocurrencies.
Keiser states that the release of GlobalCoin will put pressure to Altcoins which position themselves as cryptocurrencies but will be boon to Bitcoin has it primarily competes with gold and not fiat.
Facebook also revealed that GlobalCoin will be pegged to multiple currencies not only to the U.S. Dollars.
