OSC has recently launched a dedicated team called “Launchpad” which will promptly respond and provide direct support for eligible fintech businesses and cryptocurrency offerings.
The Commission has recently tweeted about their stand that cryptocurrencies, including ICOs have the potential to revolutionize the way financial services are provided to the people in Canada and that they are keen to support Cryptocurrencies and ICOs.
They aim to be flexible in their approach and see the importance of working with businesses and investors in finding the right balance for those vested in this space.
