Larry Sanger is one of the founder of Wikipedia which has throughout the years has become the main knowledge resource or knowledge bank of the internet, is sharing his thoughts about blockchain, internet and knowledge.
He reveals that it was in college when he started thinking of the internet as a potential way of decentralizing knowledge stating that organizing people from all around the world to create shared knowledge resources is really what drives him forward.
His affinity to decentralization of information is evident throughout all his projects which includes a fork of Wikipedia dubbed as Citizendium which rejected anonymous editing and introduced an expert review process as well as becoming the chief information officer of Everipedia, a blockchain enhance alternative to Wikipedia.
He laments that most users now do not care so much about blockchains and how they work, therefore developers should concentrate on how to make dApps as user-friendly as your regular applications as those are the real competition.
