The San Francisco-based Lightning Labs have release its first mobile app on Wednesday getting around 2,000 download request in just 24 hours.
The Bitcoin wallet app is a noncustodial wallet which means users hold their own assets and will be able to send and receive Bitcoins instantly.
However It has been revealed that users of the new app can only send up to $1,500, the company put a cap while the developers are still refining the application.
Hase said that they will soon offer a paid services called the lightning loop which will enable power-users and merchants to accept payments and as a liquidity service.
