It has been widely known that most investors would be happy to invest in quality film project but gaining access to real studios and executing who are looking for funding is a difficult prospect unless you have the right connections.
Proxicoin is founded by Ryan Kavanaugh who has a history of working on major deals in Hollywood which includes Marvel Cinematic Universe- one of the highest grossing film enterprises in history.
The project has already gotten a $100 million injection from Hong Kong fund which states that they are impressed with the blockchain platform that decentralizing funding for Hollywood movies.
