One of the most prominent names in the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem has recently shared on CNBC’s Squawk Box segment last July 30 that Singapore is might be on its way to become the first country to embrace Bitcoin fully.
Anthony Pampliano, Co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital said that the country’s proactive stance on regulation could leave the rest of the world racing to catch up.
According to the popular bitcoin bull Singapore is providing the right type of regulation signaling to companies that it will give clarity in the space and it want these companies doing business in their jurisdiction.
Pampliano’s assessment was spot-on as the little City State has become a model country that other countries can emulate and where authorities give fintech innovators more room to maneuver and support through state sponsored implementations of blockchain initiatives.
