One of the features that make Bitcoin such an appealing global currency is the fact that it is designed to be accessed by anyone, anywhere and without restrictions.
One of the aspects that makes this so is Bitcoin nodes, which are full clients running the Bitcoin network and distributing all transactions that have been added to the blockchain, they are processing resources set up to run the Bitcoin network client and validate transaction through the network making it functional and secure.
It has been reported that three countries dominate Bitcoin nodes operators, these include the United States, Germany, and France, with the United States having the highest number of nodes across the country at around 2,349 total nodes and 1,924 and 604 for Germany and France respectively.
It must be noted that Bitcoin Enthusiasts often run nodes to contribute to the Bitcoin network and give back to the global community while learning more about the technical side of blockchain and cryptocurrencies like BTC.
