U.S. Crypto Ban Will Not Destroy The industry

The U.S. President’s recent rants on twitter about cryptocurrencies been met with both optimism and skepticism from proponents of the emerging asset class and those who opposed it.

Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao commended that the criticism of the President about cryptocurrencies can only be good for the industry as it has brought awareness about the nascent industry.

Many of President Trump’s comment were largely defensive of the U.S. Dollars which is to be expected from a natonal leader.

Zhao adds that cryptocurrency will survive regardless if any one country tries to ban it as their citizens would likely want cryptocurrency more.

The best example of this is perhaps China which despite many attempts to restrict cryptocurrency activities has continuously failed as the effort has just created more awareness about the emerging asset class.
