
After a decade long journey for cryptocurrencies it seems that regulators are now ready to start talks on how to properly regulate the nascent industry which is poised the world’s financial system.
In a committee hearing dubbed as Examining Regulatory Framework for Digital Currencies and Blockchain, regulators, experts and resource persons gathered together to discuss the viability of existing policies and regulations found in the U.S.
The hearing was attended by Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire was in attendance to represent the Blockchain Association to address issues in the implementation of regulatory framework used b the traditional financial sector provide oversight with the crypto market.
He says that the U.S. is already falling behind other countries who are already embracing the nascent industry and I have instituted changes in their regulations to accommodate the emerging asset class.
