There have been many speculations around the cryptocurrency community on what is driving the price of Bitcoin above 9000 USD levels.
One of these is the apparent withdrawal of services of Binance exchange to U.S. clients who could now be moving away from Binance Token into BTC and other major market cap coins.
Some Pundits believe that the entry of the social media giant Facebook is behind the Bitcoin price uptrend, which is set to be released anytime this month.
They argue that Facebook’s cryptocurrency, Libra will be a catalyst that woud allow people to learn and adopt digital assets en masse.
According to Chris Burniske, a partner at New York-based venture capitalist firm, Placehodler, the US’s trade war with China tightening capital controls to limit funds from fleeing the country has added Chinese enthusiasm to Bitcoin, driving prices further up.
