It has been a a blood bath for the cryptocurrency market after Bitcoin flash crash that shaved $55 billion off the market.
Many Altcoins were seeing double digit dumps like Litecoin which slide from a recent high of $145 to $110 which is about a 24% slide.
Bitcoin (BTC) started to recover despite pundits predicting wider corrections and now trading at around $12,000 USD more impressive though is the performance of Litecoin (LTC) which touched $135 again before starting to consolidate.
The last time LTC halving event occurred last August 2015 which seen it explode 400% from $1.7 to $8.5 which many believe could happen again during this halving event.
Only time will tell if history will repeat itself but if it does then there will be many smiling faces crypto holders over the Litecoin camp.
