It's not about not loving spring
It's about loving snow, winter and skiing too. It was a spontanous decision for my one day #sprexit.
Ganz spontan bin ich gestern dem Frühling für einen Ein-Tages #frexit entflohen. Nicht weil ich den Frühling nicht mag. Eher, weil ich Winter, Schnee und Langlaufen auch liebe.
The tour started as usual at the train Station. First part by train and then by Bus and in 50min you are at the Nordic Center "Notschrei" 1120m above sea level. ("Notschrei" means somewhat like scream of distress - don't ask why)
Los geht's wie immer am Bahnhof, erst Zug und dann in den Bus und in 50min ist man am Nordic Center Notschrei auf 1120m ü. NN.
On the way there was hardly any snow. The small mountain brooks have already become torrential brooks due to the melting snow.
Unterwegs war kaum Schnee zu sehen. Die kleinen Gebirgsbäche sind durch die Schneeschmelze schon zu reißenden Bächen geworden.
But at the top there is still enough snow and my tour can start.
Oben angekommen liegt aber noch ausreichend Schnee und es kann losgehen.
The final destination was, as always on this tour, the Feldberg (in the background) summit with 1493m above sea level. On the way and at the top the view to the Alps was completely free no clouds and no fog. Marvellous!
Das Ziel ist wie immer der Feldberggipfel 1493m ü. NN (oben im Hintergrund) . Unterwegs und vor allem auf dem Gipfel war der Blick auf die Alpen komplett frei, so dass man die komplette Alpenkette sehen konnte. Grandios!
The Feldberg is the highest mountain of the Black Forest. On the summit are two towers and a weather station.
Der Feldberg ist der höchste Berg des Schwarzwalds. Auf dem Gipfel stehen die zwei Feldberg Türme und die Wetterstation.
As so often, the best comes at the end. The descent on the empty slope with cross-country ski. So far it has always gone well and hopefully it will stay that way.
Wie so oft, das Beste kommt am Schluss. Die Abfahrt auf der leeren Piste mit Langlauf-Ski. Ist bisher immer gut gegangen und wird auch hoffentlich so bleiben.
Finally taking bus and train to go back home after a wonderfull day.
