DIY – how to make a better Aloe creme than the one you can buy

When you think about it there's really no reason for buying cremes. Many things we buy all the time could easily be produced by ourselves. Often even better. For, if you come to study the ingredients of those products at the store, you'll suprisingly find that the component you're looking for is just a very small amount in that creme. If you really wanna have a Aloe creme – and believe me, that's what you want! – you'll have to do it yourself. Fortunately that's super easy!

you need

ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sheabutter
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • a leaf of an Aloe
  • 10 drops propolis
  • 5 -10 drops pure essential oil of your choice

utensils

  • 1 stirring gear
  • 1 water boiler or a pot with cooking water
  • 1 bin with lid for the creme

preparation

  • Cut a leaf from your Aloe and place it in a glass for around half an hour until the yellow liquid has run out. Cut the lower edge and the leaf through the middle into half.

  • Heat the coconut oil and the sheabutter in two different water quenches.
  • In the meantime you boil out the bin and the lid for the creme to disinfect it.
  • Dry both thoroughly with a clean rag
  • Now you scrap the gel with a tea spoon from the leaf into the clean bin.
  • Stir the gel until smooth and mix those other igredients under. Sheabutter comes last.

  • Stir it with your stirring gear until you have a smooth creme.
  • You know your creme is ready when you can turn the bin upside down without anything dripping out.
