Washington (CNN)Former President Jimmy Carter proposed Friday that a full examination concerning Russian obstruction in the 2016 race would demonstrate that Donald Trump didn't win the administration.
"There's no uncertainty that the Russians interfered in the race. What's more, I think the obstruction, despite the fact that not yet measured, if completely researched would demonstrate that Trump didn't really win the race in 2016. He lost the decision and he was put into office in light of the fact that the Russians meddled for his benefit," Carter said at the Carter Center's retreat in Leesburg, Virginia.
Inquired as to whether he trusts Trump is an ill-conceived president, Carter put everything on hold.
"In view of what I just stated, which I can't withdraw," Carter said to group of spectators giggling
