This is a quick fix-it job for my obsolete camera.
You might wish for the newest, latest, bestest, camera, but it won't beat the one you have with you in your hand when you need it. Even if it's your 5 year old phone, it's still better than not having a camera at all.
I love my Samsung NX500. It still irritates me off that Samsung killed off their detachable lens camera division.
Rather than buy a new camera just because I have a dangly screen, I decided to fix it on the cheap. Don't throw money away at a problem that can be fixed with duct tape.
The lesson here is to make do with what you've got.
