Visiting the famous Canton Fair (a famous Chinese import & export expo) twice a year for work, is part of my annual routine. This is a huge event and over time, has grown to be one of China’s largest trade shows. Many business representatives from all over the world, attend this popular event.
The venue is close to Pazhou train station. The complex itself is large consisting of many halls and multiple levels, but is still very well organised. There are about 25,000 exhibitors from both China and aboard, exhibiting approximately 150,000 types of goods. Therefore, this is a seen as a great opportunity for buyers to purchase many of the world’s best products from Chinese and foreign manufacturers alike.
The layout is structured and very accessible. Although the crowds can get a little overwhelming at times, lol. If this would be your first visit here, I would suggest picking up a guide booklet from the reception. This shows you a detailed overview of the halls as well as a categorical breakdown of the products on display.
Food wise, there are a few well-known options. McDonalds, Papa Johns or Starbucks should suffice for those with a more Western palate. Alternatively, if you walk a bit further up, there is a Westin Hotel located at the end of Section C.

由于工作的关系，我每年都回国参加春秋两届的广交会（中国出口商品交易会）。这是中国目前规模最大，商品种类最齐备的综合性国际贸易盛会，吸引了来自世界各地的商家们。
广交会展馆座落在广州琶洲岛，离火车站不远。它的总建筑面积达110平方米，分为ABC三个区，每个区按产品分类为不同展馆。这里约有2.5万家来自中国和国外的参展商，而展出产品则多达15万种，为采购商提供了购买中国和国外制造产品的最佳机会。
虽然广交会的各项配套设施和服务都比较完善，但会场有时候还是会觉得相当拥挤。如果你是第一次来参观，我会建议你先在展会入口的接待处领取一本指南手册，可以更好地安排自己的行程，呵呵。
馆内有各类饮食设施，除了中餐，也有西式的麦当劳，约翰斯披萨或是星巴克。如果你愿意走稍微远一点，在C区还有威斯汀酒店。
