My Sketch: The Acropolis, Athens.

A view of the Acropolis from the north, you see the east front of the Parthenon on the left and the smaller Erechtheion on the right. The Acropolis platform was built and enlarged from the original rocks, the almost vertical stone retaining wall formed an excellent defend against enemies attack. Further below, you have heavily wooded area and then the houses and villas of the lower city starting to take shape from here on.
