In 1976 the great Puerto Rican salsa player Roberto Roena published his album "Lucky 7", as "Roberto Roena and his Apollo Sound", where he included a song by Julio "Gunda" Merced and Pucho Soufront, which became one of his most important hits and in a classic within the genre of salsa. This song has been included in the most important compilations of the Caribbean artist.
As a salsa lover that I have always been, this theme has been among my favorites, which is why I recorded my own version.
