Why am I going to SteemFest4? Is it a Business Trip or is it Pleasure? This is the question posed by @anomadsoul for the #roadtosteemfest challenge. Read all about it here.
It's a thin line for me. They crossover and I can't decide where one starts and the other ends. In fact, SteemFest is one and the same for me. It is both Business and Pleasure. It is a Business that's Pleasure to me.
This plan was a tiny seed during the last one. @khimgoh, @zord189 and I had just in passing mentioned we'd make it for the next one. Though I heard whisperings along the way that it could be closer to us this time, I didn't think much of it. Not til the venue and dates were dropped.
Then it was scramble time. Had to get the tickets and there were already contests and challenges to win them along with accommodation. I started on my 15k steps for Actifit. I recently had the pleasure of sharing my Glamping trip on travelfeed.io (I love the UI). But there was no way I was leaving it to chance (you see, I am generally not a very lucky person... gahhhh) and so got the SF4 ticket before the price went up a couple of weeks ago.
So, the question is, am I going for Business or Pleasure. Well, I am not big on doing Business if it is not bringing me Pleasure. And so I have to say it is a Pleasness hahahaha. They are one.
I am excited to meet Steemians just to get to know who I'm swimming with in this Steem Ocean. From the previous SteemFest I know Devs will be sharing their ideas and plans for their DApps so I want to absorb as much as possible on where this school of fish are heading towards.
I have always liked looking into someone's eyes when I talk to them (it really gets to me when one wears their sunglasses during a conversation especially when there's no need ... like indoors). I want to know what others think and feel about Steem. I just want to absorb the Steem Spirit.
This is probably the easiest Topic so far. This Steem Business is a Pleasure to me. I cannot wait to meet as many fellow Steemians as possible and I truly hope you are one of them :)
