Hello dear Steemians, how have you been?
Finally I can start blogging again after having a bad cold in the last few days. The snow was beautiful but it brought me this cold and as always... my little girl has gotten the virus from me afterwards and my husband didn't miss it either.
However I don't want to miss the chance to send good wishes to all Chinese friends who are now welcoming and celebrating the new year aka the spring festival.
Luckily I had prepared these songs previously before I got sick few days ago, so I can
just download it today to present it to you.
These two songs were both the original soundtrack of a recently popular traditional
chinese drama titled "Ashes Of Love" which was made based on the famous novel titled
"Heavy Sweetness Ash like Frost".
It is very rare that I can be satisfied with the film made based on a very good book, but
this one I am very satisfied (despite the fact that some scenes in the book are not
included in the film because of the strict censorship by the chinese government).
All the songs made for this drama is very beautifully made and the story is also very beautiful.
The plot background is the gods love life in Taoism.
Well... I am not a devotedly religious person so I do not believe in such legends (it has
nothing to do with my own belief), however...I still love how the diverse cultures in many
different corner of this earth are basically born and developed through the similar way.
So many different nations developed many different beliefs and each of them creates their own beauties and precious heritages.
Sometimes I think so many human beings are really too stupid to realise what they have
destroyed only to get an acknowledgement that they are alone are the best and the correct one and other people must follow them...
Why can't we just enjoy what we like and admire what interests us and just leave what we dislike?
I am not chinese, but I really admire their culture... as much as I admire my own culture and the others too.
Perhaps not everyone in my followers list would like these videos but it doesn't matter either.
I believe that some must like it though and that's enough.
My sole purpose today is to wish all my Chinese friends a happy spring festival.
新年快乐 (xīn nián kuài lè)= Happy new year
心想事成 (xīn xiǎng shì chéng)= May your heart's wishes come true.
四季平安过旺年 (sì jì píng ān guò wàng nián)= Wishing you a whole year of peace
