People wonder why I love Steem as much as I do. This post will give you a perfect reason why you too should love Steem as much as I do.

I went out to Colorado for @TheAlliance Block party. While there I was lucky enough to meet @PrettyNiceVideo and @ScarletReaper. Getting to know ScarletReaper for the first time we found we had a lot in common. One of the topics we talked about was using CBD to help combat pain along with other health issues.

ScarletReaper told me her personal story about how CBD changed her life. It is her story to tell. I will just ask you to trust me on this.

What is CBD? According to Health.com

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a chemical compound from the cannabis plant. It's a naturally occurring substance that's used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it's not psychoactive.

With all the facts out of the way, let us get on to the fun stuff! @PrettyNiceVideo and SnapChat. Yes, this is my life.

It's a great life!

PrettyNiceVideo sent me a SnapChat telling me about some CBD she had received as a trial sample. She made a video about what she received from the company Plain Jane in the post The Dab Diaries. Franny shows how the CBD comes in raw flower form.

Franny was very impressed with all of the information that came with her shipment, how it tasted, and how it helped her. On her recommendation, I purchased two Eighth pack CBD-Rolled Joints and one 2 count: Hemp PreRolls.

Before we go any further we need to now talk about another Steemian named @Metametheus. His newest post Listening To The Wind is about making one very small change each week. His post is written so well. He goes on to explain why learning to change can be done easily.

I loved the idea when I read his post a few days ago. I left him a comment letting him know I would be thinking of something I can change and stick with for a week. Something different. Something small. Something Positive! I didn't want to start this experiment in a negative light. I want to pick something I can do for a week.

Bring on the CBD!

In the video above I go into detail about smoking CBD for the first time. Let's just say CBD in leaf form makes me very smiley and happy! Not that you can tell by the photos above. 😹

To @Metametheus, using CBD each day, without fail, will be my new change for the coming week. I am hoping taking CBD in the purest form will work better than some of the other CBD products I have tried in the past.

Back to the 'Loving Steem' part of this post. If I would not have joined Steem I never would have joined @Thealliance. I never would have gone to Colorado to meet @ScarletReaper for the first time and saw with my own eyes the good CBD can do.

I never would have met @PrettyNiceVideo and had the privilege to hug her in person, send SnapChats to her or learned more about everything, including CBD.

I never would have known @Metametheus nor read his great post on change. I never would have wanted to stick with something for a week to prove I can along with seeing if his theory works.

I have nothing left to lose but a lot to gain by doing this experiment.

Steem changes lives.

Yes, it's a blockchain that just holds data but not just any data. It holds the data of friendships made. Lives changed. A wealth of knowledge you can not find in your own backyard. Some people dismiss the creators of Steem posts as not important. I disagree. I see Steem filled with hopes and dreams if you just take the time to look.
