Today is August 31, which means Flora and Lavra day. It is a holiday of all horses and horse men, because it is believed that Florus and Laurus are considered patrons of horses. On the last day of summer the horses have a day off)) They are bathed, combed and fed as never before)))))))

When I draw a lot of sketches in one topic, I start to get tired. So sometimes I just need to distract myself. And I would have long been looking for a liking for myself, if I had not gone to the cinema for Mamma mia 2. I'm an Abba fan, and the cast of movie was wonderful. Therefore, from the film, I had only positive emotions. And to somehow rework them, I decided to take a walk in the profiles of movie stars and see what I like ... And in the first profile, with Amanda Seyfried, I found Clifford the horse. Horses - my weak (or strong?).
So, a portrait of a horse.
I start with the outline. A few easy movements of the liner. The head of the horse is turned a little sideways and it will be necessary to draw only one eye)) This means that I will not have any problems with the construction.

I add a light gray marker. I start with the volume of the horse's muzzle.

I take the marker darker.

And even darker.

And further. This is the fourth gray marker. They are all the same, but differ in color.

Now I take a light pink marker and two warm gray markers. Together they give an easy brown shade, just what is needed to equip the horse. The darkest I draw the horse's eye (I leave the highlight) and arrange the details.

With a white gel pen I add hairs to the horse's muzzle. So a small sketch portrait is ready.
