This is a Review for the famous STEEM interface, eSteem (the Desktop version.)

The other day @thecrytotrader recommended @good-karma's #esteem to me. I already used the mobile app as a substitute for the browser. I liked but not so much. But since I mainly use PC for writing posts I decided to try downloading their desktop app: eSteem Surfer!

I love how they allow you to use Markdown. The side previews which is missing from the mobile app is great feature. It's always cool to know how your post would look before posting it. I was surprised because I preferred using steemit.com over the mobile eSteem app for it.

The draft system is attractive and I might move all my steemit activity to #eSteem because of it. Currently I still write my posts on mobile or Google Docs but If I moved there I won't need them as much anymore.
Accounts Switching
I like how you can change between accounts. I used different browser/sites for my alt account (which I mostly use to not worry at my main active key.) With @timcliff suggestion of having a unique account for my shop: @ahmadgameslist I have three now. With eSteem I can move between the three with a press of button. @ahmadmangazap will probably become more active in the future.
If you don't trust eSteem with your active key. You can connect via Steemconnect. Which is what I did. The connection won't stay forever as it told me once that the session have expired.
I noticed that eSteem Surfer has unique look & feel to it with different sizes for headlines than steemit and lists & code snippets look nothing like the ones before them. But I like this difference.
Intuitive Posting Interface
The posting interface offers many tools that makes it easier for writers to not rely on rewriting Markdown very much, it seems tables work differently here but it can be done with one button. but I didn't find the HTML options like "center" tag.
Image uploading might be easier depending on how you used the interfaces before it, I liked #SteemHunt image uploader better. But I like the shorter length of the url for images uploaded with eSteem and it has a gallery section. That alone makes it a winner!! You don't have to upload something twice!
Gallery Mode
Final thoughts
Three of my posts written on the platform were upvoted by THE @Good-Karma. I don't know if I got lucky, curated or otherwise... But I'm thankful eitherway.
All in all I loved eSteem Surfer and thanks to @Good-Karma for creating it & @TheCryToTrader for recommendeding @eSteem to me. If they added commonly used HTML tags too it'll be more awesome!
What about you?
Have you tried @eSteem app? What do you think about it? Do you (dis)agree with what I said in the post? Please tell me in your comments!
