Seasons Change

As most of you know, the most recent season of Steem Monsters ended yesterday(Valentine's Day). I wish I could say I got a lot of love from the random number generator god's, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Of the thirty cards that I was able to pull, these were probably my best ten. I was able to pull another Daria in my final set of 10, but everything else was pretty much common.

@mrsbozz fared about the same with these ten being her best pull of the twenty two total cards she got.

This is her second Manitcore, so one more of those and she can upgrade to level 2. The gold silvershield archers was a nice surprise even though it is a common card. I was also really happy to see the two Naga Fire Wizards as that can be a nice card for higher manna fire hands.

Meanwhile, things continue to be a little dicey on the weather front. I work for a school district and each year we are allotted six days we can use for inclement weather. This week we used our thirteenth day. This means we will probably be going to school well into July since we still have over a month of Winter to go.

I for one and ready for these seasons to change as quickly as the Steem Monsters seasons do. When school closes, teachers and students get the day off. Administrators have to report unless they want to use a personal day. I prefer to use my personal days in the summer for camping, so here are some shots of my drive to and from work.

We have gotten so much snow, it just continues to pile up as you can see from this picture of my outside office door.

At least they had it cleared for me this time. Last time the drift was up to my waist and maintenance hadn't even touched it. Luckily I can access my office from inside the building so I just had to walk around.

The temps have been sitting pretty steady lately and we haven't seen any of the -35 degree days that we were a week or so ago.

In fact, it was so mild the other day that a deer decided to walk up near our fence looking for something to eat.

It was a bit hard to get a decent picture without alerting the deer of my presence. I thought about letting our dog Jovi out to play, but thought better of it given the ammount of snow we have gotten lately.

The distance to the top of the fence is a bit shorter with the snow on the ground and I could totally see her jumping over it to get at the deer. There are some busy streets around where we live and though I know she would come back, she might get hit before she has the chance.

I hope you all enjoy your Friday and as you start the new season of Steem Monsters (if you play) let's all look forward to next month when we get to start Spring!
