This is my entry for #beautifulsunday hosted by @ace108. This Sunday I decide to go to a festival at the National Museum by the express boat or river bus.
The festival lasts till 10 pm with all the performances starting at 5 pm so I aim to arrive there by bus and to return by boat to Sathorn Pier in the evening. It is a very sunny and hot day. That’s why I prefer to be walking around the museum during late afternoon sunshine. Even so, I have to get myself a large cup of iced coconut-water for cooling down.
During this summer month, the sun sets after six o’ clock so I can still see some natural light by the river. The breezes are very strong and the floating landing is swaying strongly by the waves. It is quite difficult to take photos with mobile phone as both hands are gripping the phone. I am afraid to go too close to the edge as I have no desire to swim in the river.
It is so nice to be by the river again and just to absorb the evening atmosphere. On the boat, I am very surprised that there are no empty seats and there are more tourists than local people. I have to find a gap to take my photos while the boat is swaying. I don’t want to fall onto someone’s lap! The boat passed Wat Arun and the new shopping complex Icon Siam. Some tourists are asking me about where to get off for Icon Siam and some Italian tourists want to know how to get to Asiatique. The timing is just right and I have time to get some dinner before catching the small local bus home. I will have to make a trip along the Chao Phraya River once a month.
วันอาทิตย์เราไปงานฉลองกรุงรัตนโกสินทน์ ครบรอบ237ปี ที่พิพิธภัณฑ์สถานแห่งชาติในตอนเย็น งานนี้เริ่มมาสามวันแล้ว แต่เราพึ่งมีเวลาไปเที่ยวงานในวันสุดท้าย วันนี้เป็นวันที่อากาศร้อนมาก จนไม่อยากออกไปไหน เราจึงไปงานในตอนเย็นจะได้ไม้ร้อนจนทนไม่ไหว เราตัดสินใจไปด้วยรถเมล์ เพราะเร็วกว่าและสะดวกกว่า ไม่ต้องหาที่จอดรถยนต์ และรถเมล์สามารถเข้าไปในเขตสนามหลวงได้ พอตอนกลับค่อยนั่งเรือด่วนกลับไปที่ท่าน้ำสาทร. เราจะได้มีโอกาสถ่ายรูปแม่นํ้าตอนคํ่าด้วย
เราเดินเล่นในงานอยู่เกือบสองชั่วโมง อากาศอบอ้าวมากเพราะไม่มีลม คนมาเที่ยวงานกันตรึม บางคนแต่งตัวย้อนยุค เราได้เดินเล่นถ่ายรูป และชิมขนมโบราณนิดหนึ่ง ต้องดื่มนํ้ามะพร้าวแก้วใหญ่ดับร้อน เราเดินไปท่าช้างเพื่อลงเรือด่วน เรายืนโชยลมเย็นสบายที่ท่าน้ำ ลมแรงมากจนโป๊ะโยกน่ากลัว เราไม่กล้าไปยืนใกล้ริมมากเกินไป เพราะมีโอกาสตกน้ำได้ แต่ก็เสียวมากตอนถ่ายรูป เพราะมือสองข้างต้องจับกล้องให้มั่นคง เรามีโอกาสได้ถ่ายรูปบรรยากาศริมน้ำและ วัดอรุณด้วย เรือด่วนเต็มไปด้วยนักท่องเที่ยว ไม่มีทีว่างเลย เราต้องพยายามหาช่องว่างเพื่อการถ่ายรูป นักท่องเที่ยวบางคนถามว่าจะไปลงที่ไหนเพือ่ไปต่อไอคอนสยาม คนอิตาเลียนกลุ่มหนึ่งถามทางเราไปเอเซียทิคเพื่อเดินตลาดตอนกลางคืน ไม่รู้ว่าเราหน้าเหมือนไกด์ด้วย เรากะเวลาได้ดีมาก เพราะมีเวลาไปกินอาหารเย็นที่ร้านประจำ ก่อนขึ้นรถเมล์เล็กกลับบ้าน เราจะต้องวางแผนเที่ยววัดริมนํ้าเดือนละหนึ่งแห่ง เพื่อจะได้ไปขึ้นเรือเที่ยวทุกเดือน
