While in Venice, Florida this past week, @farm-mom and her sister hit the outlet stores for an afternoon of shopping. Whenever there's a sale, my wife likes to save us money.😥😪😫
While the ladies were shopping, lunchtime rolled around and I realized I would be fending for myself if I wanted to eat.
Being the culinary wizard that I am, homemade egg salad was on my radar. A dozen eggs and a pot of water was all I needed. I filled the pot with cold water and placed the eggs in, as I was taught to start hard boiled eggs in cold water before bringing the water to a boil.
My secret to an excellent egg salad sandwich is to boil off all of the water, have the eggs explode, mixing both the shell and the HARD BOILED EGG to a fine consistency.
Preparing the eggs this way will give you the same crunchy texture that adding celery would give you, without all that chopping.
The next step is to collect all the egg shrapnel from the kitchen, mix in some of @dandays favorite condiment, mayo.
At this point all I needed was some bread. Realizing that the only bread we had was seeded rye bread, I opted to eat the egg salad straight up for fear of chipping a tooth on the seeds in the rye bread.
Egg salad, just the way I like it, don't knock it until you try it!!
Another four**** meal prepared by thebigsweed.

I would like to thank the boys @jlsplatts, @idig and @dandays for providing me with a forum to exhibit my cooking skills @FFF
