Picking Up An Exquisite Corpse, A Verbacious Contest, And Getting Back to the Garden

A great big thanks to @blueeyes8960 for kicking me in the groin and asking about the currently running exquisite corpse. It's been nine days since the publishing of the last episode and I've asked participants to publish their parts of the story in three to five. Someone dropped the ball. Then I kicked it.

So we're moving on. Part 1 of the story is here and Part 2 is here. We're now passing the ball to @fromage to write up Part 3. Since Christmas is Tuesday, we'll give him five days.

Meanwhile, feast on this cool image, which I found on Pixabay. I've got my wife working up a logo for Garden Gnome Publications, which I'm looking at reviving for 2019 and incorporating into the #Steem #blockchain.

2 Days Left in This Verbacious Contest

Only two days left to enter the Concoct-a-Verb Contest. All you concocters, better get on the ballocks and ride like a surfer queen! Start concocting, get verbacious, and show us all how to verb it up like a latte at a cappucino bar. Put no ads on your verbs. Past, present, or future, we don't care as long as you're tense.

But no pretense. Or is that pre-tents?

Anyway, we think you know what we mean. "We" being me and the other me. That is, I. Aye aye, Captain! Verb you later.

Back To The Garden of Eden

If you're familiar with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, then you'll understand the reference to getting back to the garden. And, yes, I dreamed I saw the bombers.

If you've never heard of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, it's likely because you're so damn young your parents don't remember them. That's young, my friend. But I won't hold it against you. Just check out this uplifting love song from some of the millennium's greatest folk heroes.

Well, that has nothing to do with the price of tea in China, and I have no idea why I'm in China, but I thought I'd end this little ditty with a shameless plug for the first volume of the Biblical Legends Anthology Series, which I edited, and which is titled, so characteristically with uniqueness, "Garden of Eden." Which is not in China, by the way.

If you have any hankering at all to get back to the garden, this is your golden opportunity. Available in print, Kindle, and ePub.
