Pilaf is not necessarily rice with meat. Today the old recipe pilaf with quince and pumpkin.

Ingredients:

- Pumpkin
- Quince
- Apples
- Raisin
- Vegetable oil
- Rice
- Salt
Rice and raisins are washed, fruits and pumpkins are cleaned of skins from the seeds, and then grind the larger pumpkin, quince and apples-smaller:

Mix apples, quince and raisins:

At the bottom of the cauldron pour half the oil and put the pumpkin:

The top 1/3 of the rice:

Half of the fruit with raisins Next:

1/3 of rice again:

Again the fruits and the rest of the rice. After that, fill with salted warm water so as to cover everything from above:

Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the cauldron with a lid and leave to boil for an hour, then mix everything gently:
