Over time, Friday has evolved into our "Pizza Night"
This used to mean ordering from our local Pizza Hut, but after so many dissatisfying dinners, we decided to stop paying for an inferior product.
Our love for pizza still burned, but our desire to rely on pizzeria employees to make dinner had died.
To resolve the matter, @jschindler and I added some new items to our grocery list and got to work in the kitchen. Along the way, we discovered how much fun it is to work together making food we enjoy.

My naked thin crust
Turkey pepperoni, sauteed mushrooms with herbs
Yellow bell pepper, fresh spinach
Black olives, feta cheese
Close inspection of toppings
Blanket of mozzarella cheese over toppings, pre-oven

No time for lighting adjustments - time to devour!
On a side note, the little "I ♥ Pizza" image at the start of this post represents my first real success using Inkscape to create a design element!
Some of the steps involved in creating my pizza design
I spent a few hours working on it after we ate and I'm quite satisfied with the results. As I build my Inkscape skillz, I plan on sharing many more endeavors here in the near future 😁
