An alternative way of toasting bread WITHOUT the help of a toaster.

Good morning Steemians, its a lovely Friday morning here in Ilorin, Kwara state. Early this morning my little brother Mercy said " Anuty Gloria I'll like to eat a toast bread but i want the one you normally make without toaster". You see before we bought a toaster i developed a way of toasting bread for my little ones and they always love it. Since we got a toaster I stopped using the previous method but this morning I revisit my old method.

  • I added little oil to a frying pan. Not much oil, and it shoulsnt be scarce because if it is, instead of giving a crispy brown look on the bread it will be black (that is it will burn).

  • On averagely heated oil i put the egg soaked bread as seen above.

  • Almost immediately after putting the bread, I turned it around because if it stays too long, it will burn. And it should be on low heat.

  • Allow it to fry till it gives a crispy brown look as seen above.

FINAL LOOK.

It can be served with tea or juice depending on choice. You can give this a trial at home and trust me you wont be disappointed.
