Fuzzy Baby Ducks - American IPA - New England Brewing Company
Fuzzy Baby Ducks is a 6.2% alc/vol American IPA brewed in Woodbridge, Connecticut by the New England Brewing Company. This small batch brewer is well known for cranking out the best and most sought after beers in the state. Fuzzy Baby Ducks has only been canned a hand-full of times and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few.

The Pour
Fuzzy Baby Ducks goes down very easy for a 6.2% beer. The 100% Citra hops gives this a very orange/grapefruit-like flavor that is not over-powering but certainly get's the point across. It has a nice foamy head when poured into a glass. The can itself is absolutely charming. A unicorn farts out a rainbow and a group of baby ducklings use it as a slip-n-slide. What more can you ask for on a can of beer? The citrusy, piney flavor of the Fuzzy Baby Ducks makes it one of my favorite beers. It tastes as if you have a bunch of happy fuzzy ducklings on your palate. Unfortunately they are very hard to come by.
If you ever happen to be nearby the New England Brewing Company during one of their can releases, you should definitely stop by and grab yourself a case. They sell for just $2 a can and you can trade them for some of the other greatest beers in the country including Alchemist's Heady Topper or Treehouse's Julius. You may even get lucky enough to find a bar that has Fuzzy Baby Ducks on tap if you go to a local Connecticut restaurant.
