SARDINE TORTILLA.

Greetings Friends!

In this opportunity I will tell you how to prepare a rich tortilla made of tin sardines, very simple and easy to prepare with various ingredients that gives it a rich flavor. In our country VENEZUELA there is a tradition of making a curd or cake of dried fish, but more elaborated at Easter, in the past that famous curd was prepared from Morrocoy, I do something similar but with tuna from cans or sardines and in the form of tortillas.

Ingredients:

• Two cans of sardines
• Onion
• Peppers
• Chilli
• Garlic
• Tomatoes
• Eggs
• Bananas
• Ocumo

The first thing we do is peel the ocumo and put them to boil until they soften, peel the ripe bananas and make slices, and begin to diced the other ingredients tomatoes, onions, peppers, pepper and you can place chives, while more chopped dressings the stew grows, I add an eggplant.

Open the cans of sardines we vote the liquid and put it in a container and clean well, removing the thorns and bones that bring. Chop the slices already cooked in squares and do the same procedure with the occumo.

In a frying pan I place onoted oil (with onoto or achote) and fry the chopped dressing, wait a few minutes and add the sardine, stirring everything and retouching the salt. Add the chops and chop and mix..

When the stew is ready, beat the eggs and add stew, the size will depend on the pan they use and the thickness they want to make, I made several small tortillas like the ones in the first photo and use 2 eggs for each one..

They can accompany the tortilla with casabe, or rice, I made a stick rice as you see in the photo.

I hope you are encouraged to prepare an omelet.
