The story about the doubts in the shoes fixer, when no one came for days as he sat there waiting.

The Shoe Fixer
He sat in the street, his table in front of him. He only had shoes to live with, and he only had shoes to live for.... The shoe fixer sat at his table waiting for the next person who want his shoes fixed. But no one came to him in days...
Am I not needed anymore?
Did people start buying new shoes instead of fixing the old?
There were still hours left in the day, so he kept on waiting.
His thinking interrupted when an old man came at his table.
"Hi..." the man said "How much to fix this?"
The shoe fixer smiled and. "5 bucks sir."
I'm still needed after all.
This was written for #freewrite Day 26 challenge.
The theme is: a shoe.
As with the challenge rules, I wrote this in five minutes (and few seconds to be fair)... I did some edits in those 5 minutes and the story isn't complete... But decided to stick to the challenge and stop writing where the time stopped.
Anything that's not a line in the story is written later, the title is added later and so the italics marker.
By the way, while my English isn't bad it's not my first language... we have a different word for shoe fixer which is translated to English as "Shoe Tailor"
picture is taken from this site, it's not public domain, I don't own it so hope I'm forgiven for using it.
Re-reading it... many words needs changing here.... Hope I improve fast.
