As a mother of three, what's most important to me is to see my girls grow into fine, happy, healthy, young ladies. How I wish motherhood can come with a manual or instructions. But NO, it doesn't.
My eldest is going to be 9 this year. So time really flies. Never thought I have been a mom for so many years. Before this, never cross my mind I will ever be a mom. What I always tell my girls before I drop them off at school is be happy and have fun! Because I have always believed that a happy child will be able to learn better.
I have also practise with them to say I Love You every day. I kiss and hug them every day. They will have to say I Love You to their grandparents, daddy and me and among themselves. Whenever they have quarrels or fights after they said I Am Sorry, they will have to say I Love You and hug each other because they are sisters. Sisters for life.
I don't mind they make mistakes but I don't like when they try to hide their mistakes or lie about it. So I have always told them it's fine if you do something wrong. But please let me know about it. And then not to repeat the same mistakes again and again or purposely.
So these are some of the core values that I hope I can pass down to my girls.
