This is a new series I started that followed on from an old freewrite I wrote called "Big Bird". It was voted by my lovely friends and followers as the story most people would like to see continued (to read first two parts see this post: @felt.buzz/it-s-my-party-and-i-ll-cry-if-i-want-to-a-five-minute-freewrite-big-bird-2).

50% of the SBD payout from this post will go to the @freewritehouse. Meaningful comments on this post will get an upvote from me and a number. On Saturday, all the numbers will be put into a draw and one lucky person who has commented on this weeks "Big Bird" posts will win 1 @steembasicincome share

"This had better be important Pieman," he said, grumpily. He'd been calling me Pieman for a couple of months, now. It is true I had put on a bit of weight. "Exactly," he said. "Unearthly hour on a Saturday morning to be calling someone. What d you want?"

There was a pause.

Then, "Party, Pieman? You been having a party and not inviting your J-man?" I didn't answer straight away. "Come on Pieman, spill the beans..."

I cleared my throat. "I don't know what's going on, mate," I said. "The bedroom is covered in empty bottles, and there is a bird in my bath-"

"You scored, Pieman? Well, done..."
