Friendship is vital irrespective of where we are. It is a joy as well as a privilege to sit down together with two or three friends. It is a time to enrich one another or even to deliberate on something meaningful for a bigger community.
Over the years, I have made friends who live in different places or countries. We don’t often meet up. When it is possible we would get together for coffee or meal. We talk about our current situation, challenge and next season of life etc. If we touch on a common goal, we can even deliberate together to attain it.
Sitting down together with friends is not only a time to recapture our memory of what happened in the past, it is also a time to look forward for a brighter and meaningful future.

无论在哪里，我们需要朋友。如果能与三两位知己坐在一起乃是一种享受，也是一种荣幸。並且这还可以彼此建立，互得教益，什至商讨能够造福更大群体的事情。
多年来，我结交了好些住在不同地方或国家的朋友。我们有时见面。如果可能，我们会聚在一起喝咖啡或者一起用飱。我们谈论各自目前的状况、面对的挑战和人生下一个季节等。如果谈及共同的目标，我们还可以一起商讨，共同达成目标。
能够与朋友一起坐下来，不仅是囘想过去的曰子，也是一起探讨和期待更光明和有意义未来的时刻。
