I first heard of Billy Mitchell after he shot to fame for being the first person to achieve a perfect score on PAC-MAN.

This monumental achievement landed him a spot in the Guinness Book of Records and it seems he has hit the headlines once again but for all the wrong reasons after being stripped of the illustrious title of being the first man to reach 1 million points on Donkey Kong.

I would imagine Billy is very upset at this because it seems it was more of a technicality that lead to him being stripped of his standing, it turns out that a rule for being recognised for high scores (according to TwinGalaxies.com) is that an arcade machine must be used opposed to the more traditional control pad.
