A Tribute to the Beatles, in Moscow, in the form of a Graffiti!

It's been a while since I've posted some Graffiti material, so today I bring you a couple of pieces I've found in the centre of Moscow.

These are located in an alley and - by the looks of it - they're been here for quite some time.

Here's a strange concept that I will call "Beatles & Cats."
How cute is this? Probably a reference to their song "Catswalk."

I've tried to shoot the whole wall in a single image but I had no angle. This was the best I could do:

The rest of the wall was equally dedicated to The Beatles, as you can see by the references to their song "Yellow Submarine" and by the swimming Shark.

For those who don't know, Shark was the nickname of Allen Klein, the manager of The Beatles.

This last part was my favourite. Again, it's full of references to the band's songs and albums... "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Stairway To Heaven", "Yellow Submarine", "1", "Blackbird" and of course, there had to be Green Apples, a reference to the logo of Apple Records - The Beatles own record company.

This is a very creative mural and I think it's still cool nowadays, even with all the missing parts. But it has seen better days, for sure. It must have been something incredible to look at, a few years ago.

I hope you have enjoyed this post.
