Looking In On My Neighbours

Don't feel too bad for me. I live across from the beach but have only a partial view of the water. Boo hoo. Yes. I know. I'm east facing, get lots of sun, but do not get to watch the sunset unless I brave the wilds of 420 legalization. Let's just say that I'm whole lot happier if I don't inhale. That stuff isn't for everyone and certainly not for my 9 year old. Big city woes.

But with every limitation, existence offers an improved alternative for those on the lookout. It was my son that spotted this amazing reflected sunset on our neighbour's windows. I've watched fireworks this way too and I prefer the reflected versions. There is something just a little more magical seeing light shimmer on glass. Plus it feeds my love of looking at tall and interesting buildings.
