At the very least, this massage technique can reduce pain and enhance relaxation. Experience shows that reflexology can also treat a variety of medical conditions by stimulating the body's own healing powers, although scientific evidence is lacking. Stress relief is undoubtedly an important aspect of assisting the body in functioning as best it can.
