Today's prompt word is "haircut."
Now, you might not think that I need a haircut because my current fashion is to keep my hair short, but so as not to let it get long all of a sudden during the middle of the week - bits and pieces stick out all over the place and one or two white hairs which really love to grow quick and sort of stick out even more than everything else - I'm going to give myself a haircut.
I do not have my hair cut these days. I cut my own hair using this set of clippers known as "barikan" here in Japan.
This is "barikan in Japan."
So here we go. Haircut 100 time.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, just straight up there like so, how's that look, eh?
Just go a bit crazy.
Drop the excess off down there on the old newspaper. How's it looking?

There we go.
I've been doing this for years you know, for years, cor blimey.
and sometimes these old clippers, they clip a bit too tight.
Look at that. Get in there, get up there.
There we go. There, there we go. There... that's all done.
But, I'm pretty much an expert in the topology of my own pate, so I generally catch most of the fuzz that needs to be knocked off.
Anyway, it's a bit difficult doing this while holding a phone so I'm gonna get on with the job and I'll show you the result in a minute.

Well here we are folks. All done and dusted. It was a hard-fought battle between me and the old barikan, but er, we won in the end, though.
We saw ourselves through, but it wasn't with a clean sheet. The old barikan scored a quick one over here [points to flesh cut on top of head].
but, er, that's all par for the course isn't it.
