Exciting matches were played today and the usual suspects won their matches. Liverpool won against Everton (2-0) in the Merseyside derby. Manchester City won (2-1) against Brighton while thr star match of thr week saw Arsenal rallying round to hold Chelsea to a (2-2) draw.
Larry will be watching later today, around 20:00 GMT the gane between Manchester United and Sheffield United. Will United triumph over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane today? Lets wait and see. Larry then turns his attention to have a look at today in #history.

From the world of museum, Larry moves over to the USA. He finds out that on this day in 1960, John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon debated for the fourth and final time before the 1960 United States Presidential election.
From the USA, Larry goes to the world of showbiz and entertainment. He finds out that on this day in 1980, Kim Kardashian, whose full name is Kimberly Noel Kardashian,
an American television personality and entrepreneur who rose to international prominence as a result of her personal life, much of which was documented on the famous reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2007-21) was born in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Happy birthday 🎂 to Kim K.
From the world of showbiz and entertainment, Larry goes to Israel. He finds out that on this day in 1949, Benjamin Netanyahu, also spelt
Binyamin, Israeli politician and diplomat who served as Prime Minister of Israel three times (1996-1999, 2009-21, and 2022-) and was the country's longest-serving Prime Minister since since Israel’s independence was born in Tel Aviv [now Tel Aviv–Yafo], Israel. Happy birthday 🎂 to him.
From Israel, Larry goes to Sweden . He finds out that on this day in 1883, Alfred Nobel, whose full name is Alfred Bernhard Nobel, a Swedish chemist, engineer, and industrialist who invented dynamite and other more powerful explosives and who also founded the Nobel Prizes, was born in Stockholm, Sweden.
From Sweden, Larry moves to Germany . He finds out that on this day in 1957, Wolfgang Ketterle, a German-born physicist who earned the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2001 with Eric A. Cornell and Carl E. Wieman for discovering a new ultracold form of matter known as the Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), was born in Heidelberg, West Germany.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in history from the world of music. He finds out that on this day in 1925, Celia Cruz, whose full name is Úrsula Hilaria Celia Caridad Cruz Alfonso, a Cuban-American singer who has reigned for decades as the "Queen of Salsa Music," stunning audiences with her beautiful voice and rhythmically engaging style, was born in Havana, Cuba.
