Reading the #Silverprompts and wondering what on earth I'm going to write about, or whether I'd finish it in time. If I don't please forgive me, I'm going to write it any way.
Well!...what came to mind was, what about a little "Romance fiction?" I mean, we all love a little juicy love story now and again, and one is never too old to move into the realm of the fantasy world at times....not always lol!...sometimes.
So...lets forget about reality and the troubles of this crazy world for a moment, let your imagination run wild and dance with those thoughts to the end of love.

Sophia felt betrayed, her heart was broken, was she ever going to get over it?
She walked along the beach alone, she hadn't realized how far she'd actually walked.
The emotional pain she felt was too overwhelming for her to even notice the burning sensation in the muscles of her legs, she stopped a moment to ease the cramps, bending over and stretching down to rub them.
She felt the tears well up in her eyes flowing down her cheeks, wiping them away angrily with her hand, oblivious of her surroundings.
"Are you OK?" she heard a mans voice ask leaning over her.
"I'm fine thanks...just a little cramp...I'll be fine" she replied composing herself, almost bumping him over.
"I'm sorry" she apologized profusely.
His shirt was tied around his lean waist, he looked like he worked out at the gym, she assumed he must be one of the local life savers at Big Bay Beach.
He placed his sunglasses on top of his head, his deep blue eyes squinting from the sun light.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"I'm sure" she replied awkwardly
He smiled at her broadly, she couldn't help noticing his perfect white teeth, his sun tanned face made them look even whiter, he was very handsome she thought.
Omg!.. probably has a girlfriend or wife waiting at home.
The image of Mark and Susan flashed through her mind again.
"I'm just fine thank you"...she began to walk away.
"I'd gladly walk with you if you like?".
"No!" almost yelling at him.
"I'm sorry..."I didn't mean to yell...I've just had the worst few days of my life, and I don't want to talk about it".
"No worries, we all have our bad days", he replied politely. "Nothing like a long walk on the beach to unravel those nerves".
"I'm Pete by the way", stretching his hand towards her introducing himself.
"I'm Sophia", taking his hand, he had a strong firm grip.
"Pleased to meet you Sophia" his eyes searching hers, she felt those blue eyes piercing deep into her being.
Feeling a bit awkward, she wiped a strand of hair from her brow.
"Um"... she stuttered "I...I have to go". "I have to pack, I'm flying to Durban tomorrow.
She didn't wait for his reply, hurrying off away from him. She wanted to stay far away from the male species, well!... for now anyway. She never wants to feel that pain of betrayal again.
While waiting for her flight to Durban, she sat in the Restaurant over looking the run way.
She tried not to think about Mark and Susan, it was hard not to. Susan was her best friend and Mark her soul mate, well!...that's what she thought.
How could she ever fall in love again. She loved Mark with all her heart and soul, and thought he felt the same way.
She felt the hurt well up inside of her, almost choking her. What is she going to do with out him. She had lost her soul mate and her best friend, it was just to much for her to bear.
Her decision to take a break for a few days where no one knows her was the best for her. She always loved the South Coast of Kwa Zulu Natal.
She couldn't wait to settle in at the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scottburgh and forget about her problems for awhile.
Sophia sat on the balcony of her Hotel room over looking the sea, she suddenly felt an over whelming sense of loneliness.
Sophia walked into the Restaurant hoping to find a table in a corner far away from people.
She notice a man sitting on one of the arm chairs in a corner all alone, he looked very familiar.
Pete?...no it's impossible what would he be doing here. Then he looked up and saw her.
"Sophia"
"Pete...what are you doing here" surprised.
"I was about to ask you the same question", he stood up to greet her and offered her a seat.
"Are you staying here at the Hotel" she asked.
"Yes" he replied smiling broadly.
Sophia and Pete sat chatting for awhile before heading for a dinner table, she told him all about Mark and Susan. He told her about his life, and how he'd had a similar experience in his relationship with his ex fiancé.
He asked her to join him for dinner, she agreed,
They chattered some more, Pete told her he was there on business, he was a Hotel sales rep, and looked after the main Hotels between Durban and Cape town.
They spent two days walking on the beach just chilling out and getting to know each other, then Pete stopped, turned to her, he pulled her close to him. Sophia wanted to pull away and run, but she didn't.
He kissed her gently on the lips, she felt her heart melt and her legs become week.
She never felt that with Mark, his skin smelt so clean and fresh. She kissed him back, she was in another world and didn't want it to end.
Pete held her tight against his body, Sophia felt so safe in his arms.
They had only known each other for a few days, she felt like she had known him all her life.
Pete told her that it was their destiny to meet on the beach in Cape Town, and again at the Blue Marlin Hotel.
She knew this was different and she had found true love.
