If you had the opportunity to travel back in time, for just one week, to change just one thing in your life? what would it be?

Hello dear friends of Silver Bloggers, this week you have made me reflect a lot on some chapters of my life; I have remembered my childhood, my youth, my time as a girlfriend, motherhood, co-worker, neighbor, daughter, sister, friend. How I have behaved over the years, what I have done right and what I have done wrong. I know I have not been Mother Teresa, but I have not shared myself so badly either!
Because you are such a special community with me I have decided to leave death where it belongs (far away) and I am going to turn my posting around. I want to write about an event that happened in my life in the last week of December 2007; a week that was not or did not have the result I expected, but for many years I have dreamed that if there had been more communication, my wedding would have turned out much better.

Today I am going to move to the week of December 22nd to 29th of that year, I want everything to go better, I am clear that not everything is perfect in life but with a little changes my wedding will be very beautiful.

Before I start I want to tell you a little bit about what for me did not go so well.
My wedding took place on December 29th, it was a multiple wedding, that is to say 3 in one, we were 3 brothers who had been living together for many years and we wanted to receive God's blessing in our homes. A few months before we had made the promise to get married since my brother Gerardo had been in serious health and promised God and the Virgin that if he got out of that bed then he would marry her husband. To the Glory of God my brother got better and they started planning everything. Moved by this story my other brother and I decided to accompany him and on the other hand we wanted to give that happiness to my mother to see her children married, as God commands.

The truth is that I always wanted to get married, when I talked to my friends I always thought out loud about the things I would like to do for that day. When I talked about it with my husband, he agreed and gave me the go-ahead to make some expenses.
He gave me the go-ahead to make some expenses.
The wedding was going to take place at my mother's farm, a beautiful place hidden in the mountains of Táchira in Venezuela, where all the families would gather and share happiness in one day.
Everything worked out well, but the truth is that lack of communication, lack of interest from the other parties and lack of money made the weight of the wedding fall on me.

I always dreamed of a simple wedding, but made with a lot of LOVE. So today I want to change that week, I want to make it perfect and who knows, one day it will come true, because as long as I have life, I have the desire and the opportunity to change it, then everything can be possible.
The first thing I want to change in that week is that I no longer want to get married on the same day of my brothers, better for them to get married as they like, I am sure it will be a beautiful day and we will all be happy for them.
So starting from there the first and main change is that, I will get married on December 29 and everyone is invited.

Saturday 22nd
We arrived in Táchira as a family, with my two sons, Israel, 7 and Fabián, 2 years old at about 8 pm, we live in the capital Caracas and the trip takes about 16 hours in a private car. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed at my husband's house, that Christmas José's mother made hayacas and had two for each of us, very delicious. For those who don't know hayacas are a traditional Christmas dish. We were very exhausted, so we chatted for a while while we ate and enjoyed a nice drink with my sisters-in-law.
Sunday 23rd
We were one day away from Christmas, so I woke up calmly, called my mother and my sister and made a list of the things that were still needed to prepare the Christmas dinner, among other things. That day, thank God everything went well, while we went around the places and the market to buy, we took the opportunity to see and greet the beautiful people of my town and we were delighted with delicious things that we had not been able to enjoy for a long time.

Monday 24th
That day I asked my husband to go early to my mother's house, she lives an hour away and I was already anxious to hug her and love her very much. From that day what I treasure most in my heart were the hugs from my brothers, I really felt them true, sincere, full of affection.
Tuesday 25th
It is Christmas, God is born in our hearts; all of us at home wake up a little late after a delicious dinner and a few drinks of miche (typical Andean drink). The beechnuts are still warm and waiting for us to have breakfast with a nice piece of cheese or cottage cheese.
Wednesday 26th
We are now 3 days away from the wedding, that day we will visit the priest to finalize some details since he has to move to the small chapel located in the countryside. We bought a lot of things, this time I made a complete list so as not to omit any detail.
The main thing I want for my wedding is a wedding planner, someone who can lead a simple protocol in a pleasant way, I want a photographer who can record videos and leave many memories captured in his camera. This detail is a must.
Thursday 27th
We went to the moor in the mountains where they grow beautiful flowers, there you can buy them at a good price, that day I bought a lot of calla lilies, red roses, astromelias, I wanted everything to be very well decorated full of flowers everywhere, both in the house and in the church. The truth was good and apart from shopping we were able to see those beautiful landscapes.

Friday 28th
Some of us washed the house, others swept the patios, the women were in the kitchen getting everything ready for the next day's meal.
Then I had a spa afternoon, I had a massage, a mask, the manicurist came to do my nails and remove my eyebrows, all excellent.
The guests began to arrive, everyone went to the house of their choice to make themselves comfortable.
That afternoon I said goodbye to my husband who had to go back to his mother's house and we would only see each other again the next day at the church, so we said a few beautiful words to each other, gave each other a hug and gave each other that assurance that what we were doing "was right".

Saturday 29th
Finally the day arrived, I felt a lot of excitement in my chest, it was the day I had dreamed of so much, so before getting out of bed I prayed and left everything in God's hands.
I liked to see and hear everyone excited, my sisters shouting: Let's get up, the day is here, the day is here!
My nieces started decorating in the house and my sisters and sisters-in-law went to decorate the church. After breakfast the make-up artist and the stylist arrived, they started with a nice up-do and light make-up to match the tones of the dress.
At noon the bouquets arrived to decorate the corners and the most exciting thing was to see my bridal bouquet, beautiful, incredibly beautiful!
Until that time of noon everything was going very well, I have hired two cooks to take care of most of the work so my mother and my sisters-in-law could be beautiful and enjoy more at the reception time.
The wedding was scheduled for 4:00 in the afternoon, so at 3 o'clock the best man arrived with the car decorated in an elegant way, with beautiful ribbons that matched the decorations. This time I will remember each of these details, so I will take lots of pictures with the best man, the godmother, my mother, my sisters-in-law, the decoration, the bouquets, everything. I want to have a before and after the wedding, after all this is what we have left to tell, remember and live the rest of our lives.

We arrived at the church, the wedding march sounded, this time my children took me by the hand and handed me to their father at the altar, I felt full of emotion, I wanted to cry, but I held back so as not to damage the makeup. I had a big hug with my Jose at the altar and even though it is not very common, I kissed him before the mass. His mother said to me: _ I give you my most precious treasure I will never forget it! He looked handsome, lilac is his favorite color, so he looked great.
The church was full, everyone was smiling and happy for us.
At 5 o'clock we left the chapel, they threw rice for good luck, everyone was clapping and taking lots of pictures of us.
We arrived at the house and everything was very well organized, immediately we started the toast, the words, we had a special place for us, we danced the waltz and the night went by quietly, this time the organizer managed everything very well, people behaved at the height, we danced a lot, the liquor was left over, we had dinner on time and everything was as I had thought.
That's how I want this week to be, "perfect", the perfect wedding, that's how I want to think of it from today on.
This year we are celebrating our 15th anniversary and we will be celebrating our crystal wedding anniversary, so you are all invited.
