Después de unas merecidas vacaciones he vuelto más recargada de energía que el año anterior. Este año vengo con más sueños y esperanzas de que toda ira mejor y todos podremos trabajar en pro de nuestra plataforma se mantenga más estable y más unida que nunca.

After a well-deserved vacation I have returned more recharged with energy than last year. This year I come with more dreams and hopes that everything will go better and we will all be able to work for our platform to remain more stable and more united than ever.

Antes de comentar un poco sobre las fotos que hoy les vengo a mostrar quiero enviarles a todos un “Feliz y venturoso año nuevo” les mando un fuerte abrazo cargado de todo mi Amor, mi alegría, mi fe en Dios para que todos tengamos salud y prosperidad en este 2025.

Un viaje con la felicidad multiplicada y un agradecimiento infinito a Dios.

Este año volvimos a viajar como cada año “en familia” solo que este viaje tenía una particularidad distinta y era que mi madre nos esperaba con un corazón nuevo, con más baterías para aguantar a sus hijos y nietos por muchos años más, para amarnos y querernos con mucha más fuerza.

A trip with multiplied happiness and infinite gratitude to God.

This year we traveled again as every year “as a family” but this trip had a different particularity and that was that my mother was waiting for us with a new heart, with more batteries to support her children and grandchildren for many more years, to love us and love us with much more strength.

Luego de su operación de marcapasos unicameral, mi madre está muy recuperada, esta como dicen en mi pueblo “como novia de quince años” ahora quiere hacer de todo y llevar su vida normal nuevamente; solo que aún no puede hacer eso; en realidad a sus 88 años ya no puede hacer muchas cosas como antes pero con la supervisión adecuada los médicos le permiten ciertas cosas.

After her single-chamber pacemaker operation, my mother is very recovered, she is as they say in my town “like a fifteen year old bride” now she wants to do everything and lead her normal life again; she just cannot do that yet; actually at 88 years old she cannot do many things as before but with the proper supervision the doctors allow her to do certain things.

Haber pasado por todo aquel sufrimiento nos volvió a recordar lo valiosa que es la vida y lo valiosa que es nuestra madre, gracias a Dios y a las personas que oraron por su recuperación, mi madre logro conseguir el aparato (marcapasos) y superar esta dificultad.

Es por eso y muchas cosas más este año nuestro viaje tenía un sabor especial.

Having gone through all that suffering reminded us again how valuable life is and how valuable our mother is, thanks to God and the people who prayed for her recovery, my mother was able to get the device (pacemaker) and overcome this difficulty.

That is why this year our trip had a special flavor.

Desde la población de Guatire rumbo al Estado Táchira (15 horas de viaje)

Nos fuimos a las cinco de la mañana el 15 de diciembre, creo que es la primera vez que nos vamos en una fecha tan temprano. Eso me emocionaba aún más porque era más tiempo para estar en familia, disfrutar la vida, pasear y hacer esas cosas que siempre se quedan pendiente por falta de tiempo.

From the town of Guatire to the State of Táchira (15 hours trip)

We left at five in the morning on December 15, I think it was the first time we left so early in the morning. That made me even more excited because it was more time to be with the family, enjoy life, take a walk and do those things that are always pending due to lack of time.

Por ser domingo nos daba la facilidad de no conseguir tantos viajeros, asì que teníamos la vía desocupada enteramente para nosotros. Desde el Estado miranda, pasamos por distrito capital y los estados Carabobo, Cojedes, Portuguesa, barinas hasta llegar al Tàchira se convierten en horas de distracción. Aquí nadie se aburre, vemos amaneceres, paisajes, comemos cosas ricas, hablamos escuchamos música y la pasamos muy bien.

Since it was Sunday, it was easier for us not to get so many travelers, so we had the road entirely unoccupied for us. From Miranda State, we passed through the capital district and the states of Carabobo, Cojedes, Portuguesa, Barinas until we reached Tàchira. Here nobody gets bored, we see sunrises, landscapes, eat delicious food, talk, listen to music and have a great time.

Cuando cae la tarde ya todos sentimos esa sensación de tranquilidad, ya estamos más cerca y soñamos con llegar y ver a nuestros seres queridos. Siempre es asi, la sensación nunca cambia, la emocion es la misma porque asi es el amor, nunca cambia, por el contrario, a medida que maduras el cariño aumenta.

Llegamos a las 7 de la noche y a pesar del cansancio nos quedamos un rato conversando y no queríamos irnos a dormir.

When the afternoon falls we all feel that sense of tranquility, we are closer and we dream of arriving and seeing our loved ones. It is always like that, the feeling never changes, the emotion is the same because that is love, it never changes, on the contrary, as you mature the affection increases.

We arrived at 7 o'clock at night and in spite of the tiredness we stayed a while talking and we did not want to go to sleep.

Al día siguiente comenzó la decoración de navidad de la casa en Colòn, todos unidos fuimos decorando un lado y otro, hacer lazos, el pesebre y decorando el árbol de navidad que este año quedó más hermoso que nunca.

The next day began the Christmas decoration of the house in Colon, all together we were decorating one side and the other, making bows, the manger and decorating the Christmas tree that this year was more beautiful than ever.

La comida sabrosa no se hace esperar, los pasteles andinos, el hervido de gallina y un trago de ron para combatir el frio decembrino de esa zona andina nos fue llenando de momentos para reír, disfrutar y recordar. Todos brindamos una y otra vez porque mi mamà estaba bien y ese es el mejor regalo que cualquier hijo puede tener.

The tasty food is not long in coming, the Andean cakes, the boiled chicken and a drink of rum to combat the cold of the Andean zone was filling us with moments to laugh, enjoy and remember. We all toasted again and again because my mom was well and that is the best gift any child can have.
